Congratulations to the Fulton Sunshine Academy Math Team for winning 2nd Place at the Cheetah Cup Math Competition on Saturday, April 25, 2015!!!

Over two hundred 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students, representing 23 schools participated in the 6th Annual Cheetah Cup, a Math Olympiad Competition hosted by the Creek View Elementary Academic Bowl Team.

Fulton Sunshine Academy Robotics Team Wins Georgia Championship 2 years in a row!

Atlanta, GA -- Disaster Blaster, a student team from Fulton Sunshine Academy Elementary School located in North Fulton County, was awarded the Championship Award at the FIRST Lego League (FLL) State Championship held in Atlanta, GA at Georgia Institute of Technology on January 24th, 2015.

Fulton Sunshine Academy FLL Team Disaster Blasters advances to Georgia Tech FLL Georgia State Championship!

Congrtulations! The team Disaster Blasters made it to the State Championship to be held in Georgia Tech on Jan 24th.

The team members comprised of Aditya Munamarty, Varun Vijay, Nishanth Chandran, Radeen Dixon, Abhiram Vangapandu and Nikhil Dasari.

90 teams competed in the Super Regionals and the top 30 made it to the State. The team was also placed second in the Robot Performance category.

Fulton Sunshine Academy FLL Team Techno Pandas is FLL Athens State Champion!

Fulton Sunshine Academy Elementary School FLL Team, TechnoPandas was awarded the Championship Award at the FIRST Lego League (FLL) State Championship held in Athens, GA on February 1st, 2014. Techno Pandas is now qualified for FLL World Festival and will represent Georgia in St. Louis in April.

FLL is a robotics competition held annually all over the world and is rapidly gaining popularity in Georgia. Over 500 teams of students aged 9 to 14 years competed in the State of Georgia this year. The theme this year was Nature’s Fury. Each team identified a specific severe weather situation and a problem associated with it. The teams had to then came up with an innovative solution to the problem.

It is indeed a remarkable achievement for a team made up of 5th grade students to compete alongside 8th graders and emerge as champions.

Fulton Sunshine Academy FLL Team Techno Pandas Receives 2 awards, Best Score in FLL Super Regional and Qualifies for FLL State Competition

Fulton Sunshine Academy FLL Team Techno Pandas Receives Robot Mechanical Design and Robot Performance awards (the only team with two awards).

Techno Pandas also made the Best Score in FLL Super Regional competition. Team Qualifies for the FLL State Competition which will be held in Athens on February 1st!
